The derse dreamers

More CotTStuck. This time dream selves. Hussie said on Tumblr a while ago that the main thing that defines where you dream is how active/passive you are (active refering to doing things to help yourself, pasive to help others). Jay and Theresa were definate prospit dreamers, the most passive in the show, Jay being the leader and all. The same went for Neil and Archie being Derse, both having rather anti social tendancies.

The rest were kinda hard to decide tho... They're all kinda a mixture of both. In the end I just went on plot, I needed odie and archie to sleep on the same moon, and atlanta to be on another one, and I also needed more derse dreamers than prospit, hence Herry being derse.

Now, for how they awakened. The method of awakening one's dream self is to face (often unpleasant) things one has not before.
Archie awoke after his parents were killed in a boat crash at the age of 8. Ever since then he has been exploring Derse and meeting the weird little black dudes that inhabit the moon. Over the years he has even managed to master the ability of using his real and dream self simultaniously, a trait Odie insists comes from his role as a hero of heart. He never really questioned the place, he thought it was just a normal dream. It wasn't until he finally bumped into Odie there did he realise the importance of it.

Odie was awakened after he was first found by the gods, and he found out that they were real, he had always thought the idea of 'gods' was stupid and a load of shit. But he had spent the majority of time in his room, and thus never met Archie there until a few weeks before the start of the Sburb session.

Neil, well, never awakened. Not until he died on his quest bed and ascended. His reason for this? Even his dream self needs beauty sleep.

Herry was awakened after the heroes discovered the purpose of Sburb was to destroy the world that had spent almost 3 years trying to save.
